Keys to Living Awareness
– Foundation Course –
From Deep Transformation to Personal Awakening with the Way of Unfolding

9-day seminar with
Peter Wrycza, PhD

30 August - 9 September 2007

This seminar provides a unique opportunity to connect with your Source, stimulate personal growth, and renew focus, while learning about the patterns of deep transformation and awakening in general. This seminar brings a new multi-faceted holistic approach to personal development concordant with best recent Western practice, while rooted in the traditional wisdom of Bali.

In our four-fold approach to the unfolding of Living Awareness, we:

• use meditation to deepen our connection with our inner Source
• work and play expressively, with movement, drawing, freewriting, voice, etc., stimulating the creative expression of that Source in the activities of our daily life.
• tap into, and realign, the deep patterns that shape the direction of our life, so that we can narrow the gap between what we long for and what we actually achieve.
• deepen our connectedness with the Spirit of Life itself, honoured in the daily cycle of prayer and offerings in Bali, by opening our hearts to Nature, to each other, as well as to the deep energy of Nirarta and sacred sites nearby.

In this way, we become more at home in ourselves, clearer in our direction, while more sensitive to our context and better able to flow harmoniously with it. These are the keys to Living Awareness.

The Programme:
Our programme starts and ends in Wholeness. In the first four full days, we tune progressively into the four Fundamentals
of Alignment, as they operate in and around, using approaches from the West and the natural cultural markers and age-old traditions of Bali. In the second four days, we enliven the Fundamentals of Performance, centring ourselves in the natural Mandala at the core of the self-unfolding dynamics, not only of our own life, but of all life.
This programme is not primarily didactic or intellectual and content driven, but experiential, predicated on stimulating and embodying the natural process of unfolding in a way that can become a way of life.

Methods:

Our learning process unfolds Living Awareness by stimulating deep transformation and awakening through powerful experiences arising from simple exercises and practices; deepening one's understanding of what one has encountered; integrating physically and emotionally what has opened up; and making new connections that link experience to one's life as a whole.
There is a minimum of cognitive input to orient understanding and support the self-unfolding individual and group process. We emphasize personal learning and sharing through discussion, feedback in pairs, small groups, and the community as a whole. In opening to a larger dimension of the Spirit of Life, we seek to nourish the body, celebrate the senses, and listen to the heart.

To give a taste of Balinese culture, we also propose:

• An evening of Balinese dance:
• A visit to the pristine temple of Pasar Agung, perched high above the island on the upper slopes of the sacred volcano Gunung Agung
