Participants learn to master the dynamics of deep transformation in their work with others, while experiencing deep transformation in themselves. The Direct Approach to Awakening | ||

In this seminar-retreat, we connect directly with the ground of our personal identity, inner awareness. Awakening, the ultimate quest of seekers of knowledge of life down the ages, we discover need not be some far off dream, but is ever close, ever present, intrinsic in the very nature of our consciousness. During these days, we take time to settle into our Source, through meditation, attentiveness, and careful discernment. We will spend time together, enlivening our rootedness in a common Ground, and we will sit and walk reflectively, in the peace and beauty of the Nirarta environment, drawing on a number of simple pointing exercise, as we recognize and luxuriate in what we truly are and have always been. The Wisdom of Bali and the Sacred in Everyday Life | ||
|
|
In this 6-day programme, participants experience the fundamental principles and practices underpinning the natural patterns of balance and wisdom that sustain Balinese culture in the face of dramatic change. Participants will learn how to make and use simple offerings in a spirit of respect for, and connection with, the whole of life. We experience Balinese ritual and symbolic cleansing, as a complement to the practise of traditional forms of meditation and prayer, going on pilgrimage to sacred sites of power and beauty as we draw on the healing energy of the natural world. We will sample Balinese sacred music and dance
as essential ingredients in a way of life in which beauty is both an expression
of, and a pathway to, our deepest Source.
