RETREATS AT NIRARTAAtreat: self-guided and guided.
SELF-GUIDED
On a self-guided retreat you lead and guide yourself and simply stay at Nirarta as a paying guest. Meals are provided, and these may be taken in private, if you wish for seclusion. You are free to join our morning and evening group meditation (at 7.30 am and 5.30 pm). You may also choose to spend time alone in your room, in our grounds, or wandering in the rice fields, hills, and woods. We can suggest some quiet spots by the river or streams for you to take time to reflect.
GUIDED
We also offer formal, deeply transformational retreats at Nirarta for those at turning points in their personal and professional lives, notably the unique 10-day Nirarta Experience, five days of which you take alone in Nature (see The Nirarta Experience).
Besides the full Nirarta Experience, we offer a shorter 5-day Nirarta Experience Mini for those who do not have the necessary time or feel unready to take the full five days of silence. Click here, for more information

Peter, the founder of Nirarta has led many individual and group retreats since the founding of Nirarta over 10 years ago. He has been a meditation guide for over thirty years and trained extensively in NLP, Person Centred Expressive Therapy, and other forms of expressive work. For many years, he has worked as a trainer, consultant, coach and mentor to organizations and individuals internationally. A gifted facilitator of deep transformation and awakening in individuals and groups, he is the developer of the unique transformational Re•Patterning coaching and counselling process.
