In Unfolding Creative Potential with the Keys to Living Awareness we embark on a profound inner journey to connect with the well-springs of creative expression deep within us. In our integral and holistic approach, we balance inwardness through meditation and reflection with connection with nature, the divine Other, and with each other in community, dynamic expression through movement, drawing, etc., and attention to the setting and realization of our direction in life. In opening to the potential for creativity present within us, we naturally stir and resolve the patterns and blocks that have been holding us back. As such, the natural unfolding of our creativity further stimulates the very unfolding of that creativity during the programme, while offering a Way to maintain that momentum and openness on our return. |

The Unfolding Creative Potential programme is inspired by a unique synthesis of Western and Eastern approaches to creative development, offering a ‘Way of Unfolding’ that draws extensively on the traditional life-wisdom of Bali and Balinese Tantra. Creativity is in the air, the soil, the soul of Bali and the Balinese people. Come and join us at Nirarta and let it become part of you, as you

The Programme:Our programme starts and ends with a traditional Balinese blessing. The first four days enliven the qualities underpinning creativity expression – notably, stability, change, energy, and intelligence. In the second four days, we unleash our potential, growing in inwardness, purposefulness, connectedness, and expressiveness. Integrating the Keys to Living Awareness, we begin to centre ourselves in the natural Mandala at the core of the
self-unfolding dynamics of our own and all life. |
"I can truly say that the seminar was everything I feared, and yet everything I had unknowingly wished for. I was challenged in ways that made me sit up and pay attention, and explore myself to depths I had not thought possible. The use of a wide range of different and unusual modes of expression such as free movement, drawing and free writing gave me the freedom to explore my emotions, and connect with myself in ways I had not previously known how. It helped open up restrictions formed by my preconceptions of what expression should be, and what sort of results I could expect." – D.R.R. , UK, 2006 seminar |

Keys to Living Awareness
Methods:
Our approach in this programme is primarily experiential. We stimulate the natural unfolding of creative potential through simple yet powerful processes and
practices; deepening one's understanding of what one has encountered; integrating
physically and emotionally what has opened up; and making new connections
that link experience to one's life as a whole.
There is a minimum of cognitive input to orient understanding and support
the self-unfolding individual and group process. We emphasize personal learning
and sharing through discussion, feedback in pairs, small groups, and the community
as a whole. In opening to a larger dimension of the Spirit of Life, we seek
to nourish the body, celebrate the senses, and listen to the heart.
